Where do your frames come from?

We rescue forgotten sunglasses and eyeglasses from the lonely darkness of storage facilities around the world so they can find a new home in Revival — and eventually with you.

We source our frames from Japan, Austria, Germany, and France.

What types of frames do you sell?

Looking for Yves Saint Laurent, Lanvin, Dior, or other designer brands? We've got you covered. Interested in steampunk sunnies, classic cat-eye frames, or Golden Girls-inspired specs? You've come to the right place.

We have a little bit of everything from the 1950s through the early 2000s — and each pair is as unique as you.

Can I customize my frames?

Absolutely. We created our shop around the concept of personalization. We'll help you create a distinct pair through custom prescriptions, tints, transitions, and more. The options are endless.

How can I buy frames from Revival?

All About New Old Stock Vintage

What is new old stock vintage?

New old stock vintage describes items from another era that were never sold or worn — eyewear that's decades old but completely unworn, often with original tags and packaging.

You won't find a single replica, reproduction, or "retro" item at Revival. Every pair is true vintage, manufactured between the 1950s and early 2000s. We're the only deadstock vintage eyewear boutique in San Diego.

Why new old stock vintage over new frames?

With new old stock vintage, you get the best of both worlds: authentic vintage frames that are also unworn and in mint condition. Vintage eyewear was crafted with quality materials and care that's unmatched in modern frames, especially at our price point.

Our products require no new resources to manufacture, so supporting Revival means supporting sustainability. By shopping vintage, you're bypassing fast fashion and choosing to live more sustainably.

Prescriptions, Insurance & Returns

Can I get prescription frames at Revival?

You sure can. We're licensed opticians who can fill whatever prescription you need in our full-service lab. We also offer same-day service in many cases — you'll walk out with your prescription frames within minutes.

Do you accept insurance?

We'll happily work with you to submit for reimbursement with your insurance company. You can also use your HSA or FSA on Revival eyewear.

What's your return policy?
Frames

Full refund within 7 days of purchase. Exchange or store credit within 30 days. Items must be in original condition with original packaging.

Lenses

50% refund on all lenses. Non-adapted progressive lenses can be exchanged for single vision, bifocal, or trifocal at no additional cost. No refund is given if replaced with another lens type. Revival will re-do your lenses until they're perfect.

Sale Items

All sale items and partially refunded frames cannot be exchanged or refunded.

What is the lens warranty?
Prescription Lenses

We offer a 2-year lens warranty with one free replacement within the first year for defects. In year two, lens replacement is 50% off the original price.

Prescription Changes

Revival replaces your lenses for free within the first 6 months after purchase. After that, a new order is required.

Non-Prescription Lenses

We don't offer scratch warranties on non-prescription lenses, but we're happy to replace them for a small fee as the season or your color preference changes.
