We wanted to create a different kind of eyewear store. Somewhere you could actually find something unique, get help finding a frame that works for your face, and still get all the modern lens options you need.

Revival Vintage Eyewear is an independent optical shop with two San Diego locations in Bird Rock and North Park.

We specialize in vintage eyewear and independent designers. Most of our vintage frames are unworn and come from the 1960s through the 1990s.

Our inventory is always changing, so what you see in the store today might not be there next week. That's part of what makes shopping vintage fun.

You aren't just picking a frame from a catalog. You might find a frame that you haven't seen anywhere else.

Vintage Frames, Modern Lenses

Just because a frame is vintage doesn't mean you need to use an old lens.

We can put modern prescription lenses into many of our vintage frames. Depending on your prescription and the frame, you can choose from options like:

• Single vision
• Progressive
• Bifocal
• High index
• Tinted
• Polarized
• Photochromic
• Non prescription
• Anti reflective coatings

So you can have a vintage frame with exactly the lenses you need today.

You Can Also Bring Us Your Own Frames

You don't have to buy a frame from Revival to use our lens services.

If you have a pair of glasses you already love, bring them in and we'll take a look.

Maybe they're vintage. Maybe they're a designer frame that you can't find anymore. Or maybe they just fit your face really well and you don't want to start over.

We replace lenses in existing frames, including prescription lenses, sunglasses, non prescription lenses and rimless drill mount lenses.

Traditional single vision prescription lens replacements can often be done in about 30 minutes.

Non prescription lens replacements can often be done in about 10 minutes.

More complicated prescriptions and specialty lenses may take longer, but we'll let you know when we look at your frames.

Turn Your Favorite Frame Into Sunglasses

Have a frame you love but want to make it into sunglasses?

We can do that too.

We offer solid tints, gradient tints and polarized lenses, with both prescription and non prescription options.

This is also a great option if you have a vintage frame that you love and want to give it a completely different look.

It's Still an Optical Shop

While we care a lot about how your glasses look, we also care about how they work.

We'll look at the fit of the frame, your prescription and how you actually use your glasses when helping you choose your lenses.

If you need an eye exam, our North Park location also offers eye exams with an independent optometrist.
