At Revival Vintage Eyewear in North Park, we pair comprehensive eye care with authentic, unworn vintage frames and prescription lenses made right inside our store. With eligible prescriptions and available lenses, you can get an exam, choose your frames, and leave wearing your new glasses within 60 minutes.
Comprehensive Care, Conveniently Close
Eye exams at Revival are provided by Dr. Han Bui, our independent optometrist. A comprehensive appointment typically takes approximately 20-30 minutes and includes a review of your history, vision testing, refraction to determine your prescription, eye pressure measurement, and an assessment of your eye health, and a prescription trial in our store to verify and validate exam accuracy. It’s a thorough evaluation designed to help you understand your vision and care for your eyes.
Accuracy starts with understanding your needs. Tell the doctor about your screen time, reading habits, current glasses, and any changes you’ve noticed. These details help inform a prescription suited to your everyday life.
Prefer contacts? Dr. Bui also performs contact lens exams and fittings, evaluating lens fit and vision correction to help you find a comfortable option.
Your Frames Stay With Us
Revival is a California-licensed optical lab, with the equipment and expertise to edge all prescription types inside both or North Park and La Jolla store locations. Edging means precisely shaping prescription lenses to fit your chosen frame.
We can make single-vision, progressive, bifocal, and trifocal glasses, along with Transitions and custom-tinted lenses, in-house. Whether you need everyday reading glasses, multifocal lenses, or a personalized polarized sunglass tint, our team helps you explore your options.
We do not send your frames elsewhere for lens installation. Your frames stay with us, and we take accountability for our work. Know that a California-licensed Optician will be taking care of you. We do the work and make sure it's perfect, every time.

Plan Your Visit
For eligible orders, the entire experience—from exam to finished glasses—can take 60 minutes. Timing depends on your exam needs, prescription, lens availability, and frame selection; some orders require additional time. For those in need of a single vision lens, we stock more lenses than anyone else, carrying all lenses up to -6.00 sphere and -3.00 cyl. For our presbyopic patients, we carry up to +2.00 sphere and -2.00 cyl.
